Membership Plan I & Plan II

MEMBERSHIP PLAN - I

1. Members will be required to retain a refundable deposit of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) at the Library. On payment of the refundable deposit, a library photo card will be issued to each Member. (Please produce the receipt at the time of claiming a refund).

2. A maximum of two books will be allowed to be issued at a time for duration of 7 days from the date of borrowing. Books will be renewed for a further period of 7 days (only once) after payment of renewed reading charges.

3. Reading charges will be charged @ 10% of the cost of the book - minimum charge being Rs.5/- to Rs.50/- being the maximum reading charge for each book. Same rates will apply at the time of renewals.

4. Members will be required to submit proof of residence which includes a copy of any of the following:

Ration Card;

Driving License

Passport

Telephone/Electricity bill

Bank Pass Book

Student Identity Card

5. Members will need to bring the original documents along with a Stamp size photograph to the Library after which a membership card will be couriered to the given address.

6. In case a Member fails to return the books by the due date, a written reminder will sent by post with a reminder to return the books within 10 working days. In case of failure to return the books by that time, the deposit will be forfeited.

7. A written request needs to be submitted to the Library in case a Member wishes to withdraw his membership. The deposit will be handed over to the Member in two (02) days’ time.

ONE-OFF BORROWING - PLAN II
